Pet Restrictions

Policies on domestic pets vary from home to home. Certain owners do not permit pets while other owners may permit only a specific type. Please call the office to determine the pet policy for the home for which you are applying.

For properties which accept pets, the criteria are as follows:
  1. OUR PET POLICY DOES NOT ALLOW CATS IN OUR RENTAL PROPERTIES.
  2. Dogs are acceptable provided the following criteria are met: 
    a. No more than two (2) dogs exceeding forty (40 lbs) pounds each. 
    b. No aggressive or mixed aggressive breed dogs*.
  3. Dogs younger than 12 months or over forty pounds require owner approval and an increased pet deposit.
  4. A pet deposit of $350.00 paid per pet with a signed Pet Agreement. One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) of each pet deposit is non-refundable. Compliance with terms of Pet Agreement including carpet enzyme treatment & pet related pest treatment completed upon move-out.
  5. No ferrets, reptiles, arachnids or rodents are permitted as pets. Fish tanks & aquariums greater than 10-gallon capacity are not permitted.
Eviction can occur for any pet violation including misrepresentation of breed, dangerous/venomous pet, unauthorized/illegal pet or endangered species.

*The following are specific dog breeds considered aggressive and not allowed:

Pit Bulls
Rottweiler
Doberman
Pinscher
Akita
Chow-chow
Presa Canario
Mastiff
Husky
German Shepherd
Russian Shepherd
Kerry Blue Terrier
Malamute
Or a mix of any mentioned breeds

You must bring your pet(s) by our office to have a photo taken.

We as a company apply our standards and verification equally to all applicants without preference. All of our decisions are upon income verification, rental/mortgage history, credit history and worthiness, and criminal background checks.
